The Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress – Ireland 2008


The Organising Committee of the Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress is very pleased with the uptake
of Registrations for the World Congress to date and urges intending delegates to book their hotel
accommodation and register as soon as possible.

Advertisements for inclusion in the Delegate Handbook must be received by 1st May.

The World Congress Registration Fee is €175 per person (registration closes 1st July 2008).
The Fee covers admission to all Lectures and Workshops, admission to the Ice Breaker Reception, teas and coffees during intervals and a copy of the Congress Handbook.
Places are limited to 250 and will be distributed on a ‘first come – first served’ basis.
No refunds after 31st March 2008



Delegate Registration Payment:

All fees must be paid in EURO and made payable to RRC of I World Congress
Methods:
a) Euro value personal cheque
b) Euro Bank Draft
c) Electronic Bank Transfer

Hotel Bookings

All hotel accommodation will be booked directly with the hotel.
Note: The Congress Organising Committee is not involved with Hotel Accommodation Bookings.

Three types of accommodation are available
• Swiss – style Lodges sleeps maximum 6 persons (dogs welcome) only 1 remaining
• Two bed Apartments sleeps maximum 4 persons (dogs welcome) only 10 remaining
• Hotel Rooms (no dogs) only 10 remaining


The lodges and apartments will be reserved for delegates with dogs.
Hotel rooms will be exclusively reserved for those without dogs.

Prices:- (All prices quoted in Euro)
Hotel Rooms: €70 per person sharing per night (incl Breakfast) (no dogs)
There may be a supplement charge for single rooms.
Lodges: €300 (per night incl Breakfast) and sleep a maximum of six persons (dogs welcome)
Apartments: €200 (per night incl Breakfast) and sleep a maximum of four persons (dogs welcome)

It is advisable for those with dogs to join up with friends to take a lodge or apartment.
Please advise the hotel when booking if you will be attending with dogs.

As in previous congresses - dogs will be required to be crated - in their accommodation, when humans are absent.

When booking, identify yourself as a World Congress participant to receive the special rates.

Congress Handbook

Each delegate will be presented with a Congress Handbook containing the schedule and copies of presentation
abstracts. Each section will be interspersed with blank pages for note taking. A section of the congress handbook
will be reserved for advertising and the Organising Committee are happy to offer the opportunity to advertise in this
historic publication.
